A very particolar album on which I worked with pleasure almost contemporaneusly 73% Phunk.
Here is the word to be preminent, my intrusion in poetry is may be undued but when Alberto Valgimigli and Contesti Scomodi asked me to participate to last edition of International Poetry Festival, I was really proud to do it and to take part to this project. I wish my voice won’t sound out of place as regards subject evocated by Genouese poets like Franco Cadoni and Patrizio Pinna. Among others we have choosen also two poetry by Beat Generation’s sacred monsters, Lawrence Ferlinghetti and afro-american Leroy Jones, in Fernanda Pivano’s translation.
The sound of the band is hypnotic, indie, blues and psychedelic at the same time.
Aside bass player and drawer Alberto Valgimigli, the project includes guitar player Alessio Caorsi and percussionist Simone Maio. Also former Blindosbarra flute and horns player Marco Pietrasanta takes part to the project, as well as electronic and contemporaneous musician Andrea Ferraris and actress Lisa Galantini.
The album is published by Zona, Arezzo, and is printed along with a poetry book written by Franco Cadoni and illustrated by Alberto Valgimigli.
